This book changed the way I saw personal development and myself. It is the reason I decided to become a coach. Her no-nonsense style of telling you how it is and helping you face yourself and face why you are holding yourself back, gives you the push to DO IT ALREADY, change your life and stop being a weeny! This book will motivate you and give you tools and action steps to, as she says “stop doubting your greatness and start living an awesome life”

This book and the concept of the Slight Edge has helped thousands to make positive changes in their lives, from eating better, loosing weight, learning to walk again (I am not kidding!), building a million dollar business, perfecting your baseball pitch…He reveals a very simple and straightforward truth that seems so obvious when you see it on paper…it’s the law of compounding interest. Small acts everyday, practiced consistently and persistently leads to massive results.

5 second rule

Mel Robins is amazing! Her book The 5 Second Rule has started a movement. The concept behind the book is that in order to act on an impulse your brain needs 5 seconds and then an action or you wont do it. This method can help you to kick a habit, face your fear of flying, get out of bed on time…the possibilities are endless!

This book is a great place to start with your personal development journey.

You can change your life by getting organized! I love this book and how magical and important Marie Condo makes you feel about your stuff and how de-cluttering your surroundings can profoundly change your life.

This book is a personal philosophy about life and life’s purpose. It is loosely based on the Buddha’s own spiritual journey.It is a very spiritual book. The conclusions that Siddhartha reaches about life are so simple yet profound. One of my all time favorite books.

This book will delight and inspire you. Paulo Coelho is an inspirational writer with beautiful quotable prose woven into a tale of following one’s personal legend. This story is a metaphor for how we should view our own journey in this life. A Classic.

personality plus

This book is practical and essential for understanding yourself, your spouse, your kids, your boss, anyone! She proposes that there are four personality types and everyone has one dominant and one secondary personality. Understanding these types opens up a whole new way of communicating and understanding yourself and others.

the empowered wife

This book is for wives and women in relationships. Laura Doyle is a relationship coach and she uses her skills as a coach and client experiences to effortlessly explain how women can change their marriage by following the Six Intimacy Skills. This book is relationship changing! Not just with a partner but with anyone in your life.

This is all about the mighty mind and how to use it to master your world. Considering the fact that if you can really truly get that skill down, you can create the most awesome life ever, reading this book, over and over and over until it becomes second nature is time well spent.

TED.com -TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design and is a nonprofit devoted to ideas worth spreading. Incredible people speaking for 20 minutes on everything from spirituality to creativity to medicine. Click on the Most Viewed talks and spend some time checking it out.

The On Being Project -is an amazing website with an equaling amazing newsletter based on the podcast On Being with Krista Tippet. The On Being Project is a media and public life initiative exploring the intersection of spiritual inquiry, science, social healing, community, poetry, and the arts.  This podcast is my favorite to listen to because it brings spirituality together with science and the arts in a way that always inspires me!

Brene Brown – is a researcher and personal development author and speaker. Her website is full of amazing resources, content, and an outstanding blog.

Mel Robbins – is an author, motivational speaker and much much more. Her website is full of amazing FREE motivational content from videos, online courses, materials, playlists…the list goes on and on. I love being on her newsletter because I get a weekly does of inspiration and a weekly call to action. She is also brilliant to follow on social media!

Being Boss – is a podcast and website/blog with amazing resources for women entrepreneurs. They are funny and quirky and full of great information and amazing guests.

Goal Digger Podcast– Jenna Kutcher is an online marketer, educator, and entrepreneur with an amazing podcast that will inspire you, make you laugh, and is FULL of amazing teachings and advice from her and all of her incredible guests! Also, definitely worth a follow on Instagram!

Design Your Dream Life Podcast – Natalie Bacon is a Life and Wellness Coach with an amazing podcast that covers topics about health, wellness, career, motivation, and personal development. She has a great personality and is funny, light-hearted, and is a no-nonsense coach! Definitely check it out!

Do It Scared Podcast – Ruth Soukup is the author of several books including Do It Scared. She has created the concept of a unique Fear Archetype™ – the specific type of fear that keeps you stuck – and the podcast and book help you to learn learn how to conquer it and embrace the core beliefs you need to overcome different types of fears.
